How the money is accounted for

Annual Financial Breakdown

Program, administrative and fundraising costs are reported separately for each fiscal year, which ends 31 December. Three lines, three figures, published side by side.

Public Financial Reporting

As a 501(c)(3) public charity, Womafreesm files Form 990 with the United States Internal Revenue Service. That filing is a public document and can be read by anyone, including you, without asking us for it.

Context Behind the Numbers

Where a figure moves significantly from one year to the next, Womafreesm publishes the reason, the main cost items and what it means for the programmes. That rule is written down before the numbers exist, which is the point of it.

What happens right
after you donate

A receipt, straight away

It reaches your email with the amount, the date, the legal name of the organization and the EIN, in a form your accountant can use.

A way to check the work

The receipt carries a link to the Transparency page, where results, spending structure and the current status of the work are published.

Public updates, if you want them

One checkbox subscribes you to updates on what is finished, what is in progress and what is blocked. One click cancels it at any time.

Nothing else is expected of you

The receipt names one optional next step. Leaving it there is a complete answer.

Major support

Support by Agreement

Major support is arranged by agreement rather than by tariff, for people and families who want to fund a whole direction of the work.

Private by default

Being named publicly is your choice, and full privacy stays available at every stage.

A conversation, not a form

Together you agree what your support covers and how you want to hear about it.

Regular updates

Receive regular written updates on this matter, and you can ask questions at any time.

Due diligence

Before the agreement, due diligence is carried out by both parties, and the above rule on independence forms part of this process.

First Step Is a Message

We read it and come back to you with the name of the person who will talk it through.

Explore the Womafreesm System

The Infrastructure one-pager sets out how the system works, which projects it contains, which roles exist, how admission works, and how results are recorded.

Here’s what
people are asking

1. Is this just another women’s organization?

No. Womafreesm is not a club or a campaign. It is infrastructure for turning women’s reality into facts, rules, and action.

2. Are you feminists?

We work for equal consideration in systems, institutions, and public decisions. The work is practical, evidence-based, and focused on changing rules.

3. Is this a project against men?

No. The project is against rules that ignore women’s reality and make decisions incomplete for everyone.

4. What can you actually change?

No.
Womafreesm was not created to help women survive inside old rules.
We work with the root cause.
We change the rules themselves.

5. Why should people trust you?

Because the work is built on transparent methodology, clear roles, privacy by default, and verifiable public logic.

6. Where does the money go?

To research, infrastructure, translation, coordination, legal work, tools, and the operational systems needed to make participation accountable.

7. Do I have to pay to participate?

No. There are different forms of participation, including research, volunteering, partnerships, membership, and donations.

8. Does a donation make me a member?

No. Donation and membership are separate forms of participation with different rights, responsibilities, and governance roles.

9. Can donors or partners influence the results of the research?

No. Research logic, methodology, and conclusions must remain independent and transparent.

10. Who is behind this?

Womafreesm is being built by an international network of women, researchers, lawyers, partners, and local teams.

11. Can I participate without being public?

Yes. Public visibility is not required and is possible only with voluntary consent.

12. What will I get right after joining?

You will receive the relevant onboarding path for your form of participation and the next practical steps.

13. Why does this matter not only for women?

Because systems that ignore half of reality make weaker decisions for everyone. Better rules create better institutions.
